The Carroll County Chapter held their annual Bike Blessing on April 7th. The weather was great not only for ther blessing but for the after blessing ride to Gettysburg.

Our annual Freedom Rally on Lawyers Mall was held on March 28. Even though the General Assembly changed their schedule that night we kept ours. We still were fortunate to have some friends from the GA stop by.

The Motorcycle Riders Foundation held its annual Beast of the East in Linthicum MD with ABATE of Maryland as the host. Thanks to all the volunteers! It was a great conference with 27 states represented. Some of the tags are shown with the numbers "blurred to protect the innocent" :)

Our 2nd Annual Freedom Rally on Lawyer's Mall at the State House Complex in Annapolis was another success. The rain stopped just as the Rally started. We were fortunate to have quite a few of our supporters stop by to speak. Thanks to all who attended.

On a beautiful May 5th the official proclamation declaring May Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month was presented at the Hagerstown MVA office. ABATE was recognized for their continued efforts on behalf of the motorcyclists of our state.

The Frederick Chapter held their Pig Roast on a hot July 17. Even though it was a hot day there was shade under the pavilion, good food, cold drinks, some nice riding in the area, and as always good company.
