SB 493 and HB 676 Auxiliary Lighting bills have both passed the Third Reading in their opposite chambers From here the bill goes to the Governor's desk for his signature. Thanks to all those who helped this session.
House Bill 1282 Helmet Law Modification Bill receives unfavorable vote
On March 26 the Maryland General Assembly website reported that HB 1282, the bill to allow helmet freedom of choice for adult riders in Maryland, was killed in the House Environmental Matters Committee. The vote on this bill was 16 votes against freedom and 7 votes in favor of freedom. No matter what happens in the Senate this ends our chances for freedom of choice this riding season.
