Profiling Bill has passed Third Reader in the Senate!
House Bill 785 has passed Third Reader in the Senate and returned the the House of Delegates as passed! It has completed the process and only needs to be sent to the Governor’s desk for his signature! Congratulations to all who worked so hard on this bill.
House Bill 785 passed Second Reader in the Senate on April 1st. One more step, passing Third Reader, and it makes it to the Governor’s Desk.
The hearing on the motorcycle profiling bill, House Bill 785, is Thursday 3/10!! The Confederation of Clubs, with support from ABATE of Maryland, has been working hard on this bill. The CoC has arranged for everyone to get together in the parking area at the Navy/Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis around 10 AM. They will also provide transportation to the hearing. Parking is $5. A small price to pay to help stop the profiling of motorcyclists!
