Auxiliary Light bills pass committe

Both of the bills to clear up the language on the Auxiliary Light Law have passed their respective committees. Both bills passed unanimously. An amendment to make the language effective June 1 also passed both committees unanimously. This amendment was asked for so that the new language would be in effect at the earliest time for riding season.

These bills have now passed Third Reader and will just need the Governor's signature, or for him not to veto (and a veto extremely unlikely), to become law.

The bill/bills were signed Thursday May 20 and are now law effective June 1.
